Here at Asbury, people in the music area spend most of their time in connection. We connect ourselves to the musical community through informal gatherings and inviting each other to performances with friends or our kids. We connect before and after rehearsals, occasional parties, healing prayers and helping hands when one of us is ill. We connect high school and middle school youth to the world around them by introducing them to music written last year and the last century. We introduce our children to music in ways that our schools cannot, and connect them to great hymns and fun activities. We're about connections, and since we strive to make beautiful music with meaningful words that will move the people who hear us closer to Christ, our connections have great purpose. Come connect with us this week. Alan Murray, Director of Music
