The message of the Bible is that God loves you; God loves you unconditionally. God loves us so much that God in Jesus Christ came to earth and walked among us in the form of a servant. He humbled himself, taking on the sins of the world, and he became obedient unto death. What love! What amazing love!

You have probably heard the term "Good News". The gospel, the good news, of the Bible is that you have the promise of sins forgiven and of life eternal. Because of what God has done in and through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ you too have conquered death.

As one who chooses to follow Christ you are given a gift — a free gift — of God’s love and grace. You can depend on the gift of salvation because God’s promises are true. What a blessing to be able to say as the Apostle Paul said to the Philippian church:

"Rejoice in the Lord always. Again, I will say Rejoice. Let your gentleness be known to everyone. The Lord is near. Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Remember, Christ is at your heart's door. "Listen! I am standing at the door knocking; if you hear my voice and open the door, I will come into you..." (Rev 3:20) Christ is waiting for your answer.
